PoleBarnFinder.com Lead Notifications
PoleBarnFinder.com sends transactional SMS notifications to verified builders who have explicitly opted in to receive lead alerts.
Program description
Builders register on PoleBarnFinder.com and provide their mobile phone number. When a homeowner submits a quote request through the builder's listing page, we send the builder an SMS containing:
- Lead notification (project type, ZIP code, budget range, timeline)
- Direct link to claim or view the lead in their dashboard
- For Premium-tier builders: an exclusive 30-minute claim window for the lead
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on lead volume in the builder's service area. Typical builders receive 2-15 messages per month. High-volume markets may exceed this.
Costs
We do not charge for SMS messages. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply.
Opt-in
Builders explicitly opt in by checking a consent box during the listing claim process at https://polebarnfinder.com/add-business. The exact consent language is:
“I agree to receive SMS notifications at the phone number above when homeowners submit lead inquiries through my listing on PoleBarnFinder.com. I understand: message frequency depends on lead volume in my service area (typically 2-15 messages per month); message and data rates may apply; I can reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for assistance; I can also opt out from my dashboard or by emailing support@polebarnfinder.com; this is transactional notification only — no marketing or promotional content.”
Opt-in includes timestamp, IP address, and the exact consent text shown to the user, retained for compliance audit.
Opt-out
Builders can opt out at any time by:
- Replying STOP to any SMS message (immediate, automated)
- Replying HELP for support information
- Toggling SMS notifications off in the builder dashboard at /dashboard/settings
- Emailing support@polebarnfinder.com requesting opt-out
We honor STOP requests within 24 hours and confirm with a single opt-out confirmation message:
“You have been unsubscribed from PoleBarnFinder lead notifications. Reply START to resubscribe. For help, email support@polebarnfinder.com.”
Privacy
Phone numbers are stored in our secure database, used solely for sending lead notifications, and never sold or shared with third parties beyond the lead delivery purpose. See our full Privacy Policy for details.
